R-Truth really does get portrayed as comedic relief, but people forget that he actually is a capable wrestler and once upon a time was a serious competitor.

So when MVP repeatedly called him a clown and he had the opportunity to team with Drew McIntyre Monday night, Truth was beaming at having the WWE Champion on his side. He had so much confidence that he was able to have Drew’s title put on the line in a tag match against Bobby Lashley and MVP.

No worries, Truth came through and took out Lashley at the climax, allowing McIntyre to hit a Claymore on MVP, and then tag R-Truth in for a Rocket Launcher for the win.

There was a nice little reward there, with Truth pinning the guy who called him a clown, just showing that he isn’t all comedy.
