Clever, clever, WWE.

Seth Rollins ran his mouth one time too much Monday night, getting tagged in the face by Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik after weeks of talking.

Mysterio jumped Rollins from behind when he was at his most vulnerable. There was an opportunity to use that advantage, and the babyfaces took it. Then, just to add a dimension, young Dominik got away with it. Dominik gave in to temptation and used the opportunity and moment to lay into Rollins and then escaped.

Of course, you know this is leading to Rollins eventually catching Dominik, but not Monday night. Rey’s reactions were dead-on as the father who is terrified his offspring could be making a critical mistake that they can’t change. You also have to wonder how Rey will react to not being the voice of the family, with Dominik going out and making a move like that on his own.

Rollins, for his part, did a great little job, noting that if Dominik wasn’t part of the solution, then he was part of the problem and needed to be sacrificed, just in case you forgot where his priorities lie.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
