After weeks of minimal presence on Raw, Bobby Lashley ratcheted things up just a bit Monday night, but it was to a positive effect.

Lashley got on the mic after Sami Zayn delivered a half-apology for the abysmal segment last week involving Bobby’s “sisters.” The Dominator first referenced his personal and family’s military service to thank those who have served and sacrificed, which was a perfectly appropriate move.

Then Lashley turned to Zayn and simply told him that this routine was getting old and that they should settle their issue in the ring at Money in the Bank. (Thank you for being short and direct!) Sami made the mistake of shaking his hand and then telling him he wanted to Helluva Kick Lashley’s smile off his face.

That’s when Lashley stopped smiling and simply tightened his handshake grip until he brought Zayn to his knees. It was simple, but effective. And it showed Lashley has more to offer than a physique. Again, simple, but effective.
