6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 28th)

1. Beating Your Rival Early

First off, let€™s give credit to the idea that Miz and Stardust walked out on Kevin Owens during the six-man tag match Monday night. It was perfect payback, especially with KO serving as cheerleader and refusing to tag in during much of the match. Owens got what he deserved, and being pinned in a three-on-one situation is not shameful, it€™s a logical conclusion.

However, why in the blue hell is Sami Zayn scoring a pinfall victory over his heated rival who put him on the shelf for months in a meaningless tag match just before WrestleMania? Cripes, you talk about poor decision-making. Zayn lost his NXT Championship to Owens last year and then was (kayfabe) injured in a match against him. This set up a natural feud between the two when Sami returned to WWE to confront his old rival.

Aside from the obvious disappointment that WWE isn€™t doing a one-on-one match between the two instead of a seven-man ladder match, having Zayn hit a Helluva Kick and pin his arch rival in a nothing match completely defeats the revenge-seeking underdog motif that was going on for a year.

What. The. Actual. Hell.
