6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Crown Jewel 2019

3. A Big Mess

Tyson Fury was not going to turn into Ronda Rousey and become a combat athlete/wrestling prodigy overnight, but his match against Braun Strowman didn’t do anyone any favors.

Braun would lose by countout after Fury landed one of his few offensive moves: a right hand. Granted, as the lineal heavyweight boxing champion, Fury’s right hand should be a finisher. But when the match has slogged along clumsily and the wrestler has dominated much of the bout, losing to one offensive move just makes Braun look ineffective.

And then just to make this even more of a mess, Strowman hit a powerslam on Tyson afterward, and Fury immediately popped back up, no-selling Braun’s finisher. Because why not?

Yeah, that made Big Show/Akebono look refined by comparison.
