6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Crown Jewel 2019

1. Who Booked This Crap?

Viking Raiders OC

This is in no way was a knock on WWE for booking The OC to win the Tag Team World Cup. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson are a solid duo who could use some accolades to their names.

But the way in which this was booked makes you want to smack a writer or three in the head.

The OC handed the Viking Raiders their first pinfall loss in NXT/WWE in about 5 minutes. Five freaking minutes of mediocre action. And the Raiders were the fresh team in the match!

To quote Randy Orton: “Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!”

Months of building up the Viking Raiders on the main roster as almost unbeatable monsters – they’ve defeated The OC three times already – was flushed just like that.

They could have booked this so much smarter, like have the Raiders enter much earlier and eke out wins against 2-3 teams, with Erik’s knee being targeted in each bout. Then, Anderson & Gallows focus on the injured body part and pull out the win over the exhausted Vikings. See? Easy.

But instead we got the dumbest outcome, overshadowing The OC’s victory.
