6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Crown Jewel 2019

Ups...

6. At Least Shane Didn’t Win

OC Crown Jewel

It’s sad when you have to list as a positive, “Thank God the owner’s son didn’t win a tournament he wasn’t originally entered in,” but such is WWE in 2019.

As mentioned earlier, The OC winning the Tag Team World Cup itself was not a negative, but how it was booked. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson are one of the most renowned tag teams on the roster right now, with credentials around the world, so winning this tournament actually make sense in a sort – though a tournament featuring the B-Team and Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins isn’t exactly a tourney to crown the Best in the World.

So there you go. Kudos to The OC for not being Shane McMahon or losing to Shane in a surprise ending.
