6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2017

7. Carmella/Ellsworth Segments

Every once in a while, you have moments that make you groan louder and louder every time they arise. That was the case Sunday every time they cut to the skybox with Carmella and James Ellsworth.

Dasha Fuentes kept asking Carmella questions after each of the three women’s matches, and each time, Carmella gave short, insipid answers that didn’t say anything and didn’t advance anything. Ellsworth then just repeated it while the two ate popcorn. The “payoff” for these segments was Ellsworth kicking Dasha out of the skybox at the end.

Maybe this writer is missing something from SmackDown, but these “interviews” added nothing to the PPV and were beyond pointless. Just a waste of time.
