You have got to be kidding.

A count-out victory voided. A DQ victory voided. Four men running in. The only thing missing was a ref bump to really complete the collection of finishes. Many fans expected that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns would include some extracurricular activities, but it€™s doubtful many were expecting that the outside influences would include McMahons.

Shane McMahon came out after AJ won by countout and restarted the match with no countouts. Moments later, a Reigns low blow handed Styles a DQ win, which Stephanie nixed and restarted the match as no DQ. That of course gave way to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows interfering and the Usos countering. After all of that, Roman managed to pull out the victory, overcoming the entire Bullet Club with a little help from his cousins.

The whole thing could€™ve benefited from less outside influences, either no McMahons or no interference. But instead, Reigns€™ first title defense was a mess that was a ref bump short of a full house.
