Hey, if WWE wants to use No Way Jose solely as enhancement talent, that’s fine by this writer.

The scary part when Jose blasted Elias while in disguise was that WWE was going to turn this into a mini-feud by having the conga line leader winning the match to set up the dreaded rubber match.

Instead, Elias dominated much of the bout, hitting a top rope elbow drop and Drift Away for the clean win. So despite Jose being attacked last week and stooping to deception to get revenge this week, Elias still was just too much for him and won the bout.

Good. If Elias is the bigger star, he should win matches like that. It’s not like if Jose won, they’d suddenly try to elevate him.
