It’s such a shame that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were drafted to different brands and we won’t get to see them fight against each other anymore… wait, they’re both on Raw? WTF? And at the same time, great news!

Zayn and Owens tore down the house with an insane, hard-hitting, awesome match that brought fans to their feet multiple times. Every time you thought they had reached a zenith in the match, they continued to raise the bar, with most of the good stuff coming after Zayn seemingly fell off the top rope onto the shoulder he had surgery on last year.

Sami threw KO around with Exploder suplexes, half-and-half suplexes, a suplex on the apron and of course a Blue Thunder Bomb. Owens responded with superkicks, cannonballs, a frogsplash and a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Fans were buying into sequences and loving every moment, especially toward the end, when KO became distraught that Zayn kept kicking out, only for Sami to finally put him away with two Helluva Kicks.

Fantastic match, just a shame this was their last bout ever.
