NXT fans know that one of the biggest draws about Enzo Amore & Big Cass is Enzo’s brash promo style. He runs his mouth with the best of them, alternately laying into opponents and making fans laugh. It’s a fine line between silly chatter and deadly threatening, but Enzo walks the line well.

Before the big six-man tag match, Enzo gave the Club some advice, which included not eating yellow snow, never wearing Crocs, or never making eye contact while eating a banana. He also warned the trio to not come to the ring without a good dental plan. Amore’s team made good on that promise, beating the Club.

But it was Enzo’s promo, which included telling his opponents that they “can’t Washington D.C. me.” It was good enough to draw a hand raise from Cena, who looked legitimately impressed. That kind of mic skills should serve Enzo well going forward, and it was good for a WWE PPV audience to see him shine like that.
