4. A Parting Gift For AJ

You almost have to feel for AJ Styles, who lost his tag team running buddies in the draft last week, as well as took a pinfall loss in a match against John Cena and Enzo Amore and Big Cass. All of that came in the span of a week.

Also on Sunday, Styles took another step backward, taking the pinfall loss to Cena, Enzo and Cass. Why AJ had to lose the match is anyone’s guess, as it doesn’t make a lot of sense. If the makeshift team was going to win, it would probably have looked a little more realistic if they had lucked into the victory rather than mowing down opponents in a melee and then winning pretty cleanly, especially with Cena hitting a top rope AA on Styles.

Sure, this will probably lead to a rubber match between Styles and Cena at SummerSlam, but maybe they could have protected AJ a little better with Karl Anderson taking the fall, allowing Styles to boast that he never got pinned by Cena.
