6 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Raw Superstar Shakeup

3. Gotta Keep Shane Strong

The first superstar drafted to Monday Night Raw was…. The Miz.

This means that Miz’s feud with SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon is effectively over – and Shane won their only match. Yes, he “won” after Miz superplexed them off a camera tower and Shane landed on top of him, but still, he got the upper-hand, even after turning on Miz, accosting his father at Fastlane and then attacking him again at WrestleMania.

And now Miz heads over to Raw after losing their only match. Sure, he got revenge by attacking Shane with a chair Monday night, but that’s not a blow-off to this feud, which presumably will now sputter and die.

Also, it’s worth noting that it was Shane who was the foil for Miz, thus garnering his cheers. If Miz is going to continue as a babyface without the reason for his turn this soon, it could backfire greatly and lead to apathy about Miz. Let’s hope we’re wrong, but it’s worth noting here.
