At NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable in May, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch brought down the house with a 15-minute Womens Championship match that raised an already high bar for womens wrestling in the developmental territory. When both were called up to the main roster two months later, NXT fans were wondering if the two would lock up again and wow a wider audience. Sunday night, the two women squared off in their third match since debuting. The first was on Main Event, and the second was a four-minute affair on Raw. Sundays bout took place on the TLC kickoff show and was announced just hours before the event. Still, Banks and Lynch got 12 minutes to wrestle, using chain wrestling, pinfall reversals and some trash-talking (from Banks) to fill the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doyBZJkAX3c It wasnt a great match (and you could complain that having Team BAD interfere on Sashas behalf only makes her look incapable of winning on her own), but giving them time to perform without a stupid Santas Little Helper gimmick was nice. Now, if only the writers could actually come up with a reason or actual stakes for the match, we would be getting somewhere. But then again, its not like the men are faring much better these days
