One of the worst things about WWE is that it outright seems to hate its fanbase at times. You can just feel the disdain dripping from your television screen in the way the company presents some angles or addresses the audience. Monday night, Triple H just couldnt help himself and had to take a dig at fans who were pissed about the end of the Royal Rumble. He compared the WWE event to the NFLs Super Bowl the night before, noting the controversy surrounding the American football finale. He then joked that fan outrage had sparked a Cancel the NFL Network movement, an obvious dig at those who made #CancelWWENetwork trend on Twitter for several days last week. Look, youre upset and we get that. Youve even got evidence that the Networks subscriptions are growing, reaching 1 million last week. But the repeated jabbing of fans like this doesnt help. Maybe WWE thinks that because Triple H is a heel that this is in the context of his character, but these fans probably dont view it that way. Still, the possibility that its just WWEs way of making fans hate Triple H more (any heat is good heat, right?) is why this ranks so low.
