If WWE wanted to end Raw on a high note, this would have been the segment to close out the show. Daniel Bryan announced that rather than ending his career, he will enter the Royal Rumble. It was a great surprise for those who thought he might be out for the foreseeable future to realize that Bryans return to the ring is mere weeks away. Bryan has been one of WWEs top stars during the past year-plus. His absence from the ring the past seven months undoubtedly forced the company to overhaul any longterm booking plans it had and hurt the overall product in 2014. A return to the ring is not only welcome, its a mild form of salvation. With Bryan, Roman Reigns and even Bad News Barrett coming back, WWE is at least entering 2015 with a few more bullets in its chamber. Barretts return Monday night was overshadowed by Bryans announcement, but it shouldnt be undervalued. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHBI83cbcds Does that mean that the future looks bright for WWE? Not really. While having these men back in action will certainly help, they need to be booked carefully, and a lot of other moving parts need to be handled properly if WWE is to start 2015 strongly.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
