6 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 29)

DOWNS€

6. Wasting Brock

Brock Lesnar is your reigning, defending, undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion (although the €œdefending€ part is debatable). He is only available for a limited number of Raws and PPVs, so his appearances have to be carefully calculated to maximize the value and impact. Monday night however, we got what, about five minutes of camera time for Brock? And what did he do? Stare imposingly at Edge & Christian before escaping a John Cena Attitude Adjustment and retreating, then return at the end of Raw to pose on stage. It€™s true that the whole show can€™t be dedicated to Brock, but there had to be better ways for Brock to make an impact. Maybe he walks out during a Bo Dallas versus R-Truth match and dismantles both, just to show that the champ truly rules the roost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PP-JF7MvCQ8 If this was all the writers had for Brock, they should have saved this appearance, because there surely will be a Raw during the lead-up to WrestleMania where Lesnar could easily fit in, but WWE will be counting those limited appearances.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
