6 Ways For WWE To Revitalize The Mid-Card

5. Give The Women's Division Better Storylines

There is a plethora of talent in WWE's main roster women's divisions, which is what makes it so frustrating that there is barely a mid-card to speak of. WWE's bookers are anything but creative, and can't seem to build storylines for women that don't involve romance, the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships, or the word b**ch.

A feud between members of The Riott Squad has emerged in the last month, and while it has been far from a captivating program, it's an effort to build up the mid-card. Remember the women's tag team titles? Despite holding the belts that have the potential to revitalize the women's mid-card, Asuka has spent the last three months being booked as a singles star and the biggest threat to Becky Lynch's title.

The main roster bookers should look to NXT to see how to be effective with the mid-card of the women's division. Dakota Kai attacking Tegan Nox at War Games was one of the best heel turns in recent memory, and has led to a solid mid-card rivalry that has benefitted both wrestlers. This is an easy model to replicate on the main roster if WWE creative take their time to build good stories.

It shouldn't be hard to create stories for a division that features the likes of Naomi, Carmella, Ember Moon, Nia Jax, Sonya Deville, and many other skilled performers. Based on the current booking, getting more women in WWE's writing room would be a good place to start.
