6 Ways WWE Can Salvage Alberto Del Rio

4. Bring Back The Cross Armbreaker

What the heck has been going on with Alberto Del Rio and his finishing move since returning to WWE? During the entirety of his first run, Del Rio used the Cross Armbreaker and the Cross Armbreaker only, and the move was protected pretty damn well. Del Rio defeated Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan with the move, among others, winning and retaining titles via tap-out.

Since returning, however, Del Rio has mostly used the godawful tree of woe stomp as his finish. The move looks devastating enough, but it takes approximately three weeks to set up. It looks awkward as heck and makes no sense as a finishing move, especially in the land of 'OUTTANOWHERE' moves.

The reasoning for the removal of the Cross Armbreaker still isn't clear and, unless there is a pretty fantastic reason, Del Rio needs to return to his days of arm-snapping. Having such a legitimate finish can do wonders for a floundering worker. Just ask mid-1996 Steve Austin...
