6 Worst Handled Characters In WWE NXT History

2. Kaval

The performer mostly known either as Senshi or Low Ki has long been a fan favorite wherever he has gone. He has performed in TNA, NWA, NJPW, AJPW & ROH as well as many other places and he has always stood out. His gravely voice & martial arts influenced style have made him unique. When he joined WWE as Kaval there were a lot of reasons to hope for the best. There were however two main reasons to worry that things were not going to work out. In WWE, a size obsessed company, being 5'8 may be a big problem. You could say the writing was on the wall. That's why it was so shocking when Kaval went on to actually win the second season of NXT. Soon after being drafted to Smackdown he got a spot on a pay per view representing the his season against Raw. It looked like everyone's misgivings may be proven wrong. Kaval then used the guaranteed title shot he was granted for winning NXT for the intercontinental title and failed. If you can get a shot at any title and you don't go after the World title it really sends a message to the audience that you are not worthy. Kaval was never portrayed as a star again and was was given his release upon his request. Kaval was and is an incredibly talented performer who at worst should have been an upper mid card act in WWE to this day if given a proper chance. From the start he was never given much of an opportunity. Wrestling fans have lost out on many five star matches that could have taken place as a result if it weren't for the WWE's size fetish.
