6 Worst Handled Characters In WWE NXT History

1. Kassius Ohno

Like Kaval before him Kassius Ohno came to WWE developmental with many years of indie cred wrestling as Chris Hero. Kassius Ohno signed with WWE in 2012 and was released in 2013 with very little fan fare. If you weren't a fan of his work pre WWE, his tenure and firing may have gone completely unnoticed. Reportedly he had been asked to take training more seriously and get in better shape neither of which he did. The WWE lost all faith in him as a result and it was only a matter of time until he was fired. The reason this is the biggest mishandling in NXT history is just how big a star Chris Hero should be for WWE. If he had been given half a chance he easily could have been the next big WWE prospect. Cesaro & Hero could have reformed their tag team from the indies instead of the Real Americans or he could have taken Seth Rollins place in The Shield. He is just that talented. In fact he could have been the next Daniel Bryan or CM Punk if the WWE higher ups had ever looked past his physique and instead looked at his wrestling talent, charisma & mic skills. Huge wrestlers who may not be great in the ring have their place in the business but it's never worked at the top of the card. Hopefully some day the WWE will value what makes a wrestler over what makes a Muscle & Fitness cover model.
