RAW is going to miss Chris Jericho.

Y2J has continually been one of the red brand’s most entertaining superstars since the 2016 Draft, and has undergone an incredible career revival throughout the past 12 months. It speaks volumes that his List is more over than most of the roster, and while RAW has regularly struggled for quality since July, Jericho can always be relied upon to deliver an entertaining segment.

Unfortunately, all signs point towards Jericho taking one of his regular breaks following WrestleMania. The Canadian has previously stated that his current WWE deal operates on a month-to-month basis, and that he could disappear at any time. The conclusion of his feud with Kevin Owens feels like the perfect opportunity to write Y2J out, and transition the United States title to someone else.

Jericho’s band Fozzy are set to tour the USA this May, and while Jericho is expected to return to WWE after the summer, there’s every chance that he could be set for a prolonged absence. The group haven’t released an album since 2014, and with Y2J previously suggesting they’ll release another this year, perhaps more of his time will be taken up by the promotional cycle.
