Rick Rude is one of the few men to work extensively with the Ultimate Warrior in both the WWE and texas-based promotion, WCCW. This familiarity certainly helped their matches flow better than most of the Warrior's encounters and Rude was also a tremendous talent who could get the best out of Warrior each and every time they wrestled each other. Rude had a nice combination of power and finesse and could really lead the Warrior to longer and more entertaining matches than his typical opponent.
