6 Wrestlers Whose Recent Push Complaints Weren’t Warranted

2. Maria Kanellis

Over the past year or so, Maria Kanellis has frequently used Twitter as a vehicle to complain about both her and her husband's usage (or lack thereof) in WWE. Tweets like 'So why is this guy not on TV? SMH,' above a picture of her husband Mike Kanellis, is a classic example.

Of course, the two were brought in to work a program together before the former Divas Search contestant went on pregnancy leave, essentially derailing WWE's plan. When she temporarily departed, the company didn't seem to have a viable backup plan for Mike Kanellis, and he was seldom used on television.

No one was at fault here.

Maria Kanellis was certainly within her right to take time off to give birth. Conversely, WWE brought the two in with a certain concept in mind that didn't work without both parties. While Kanellis' comments were generally mild, they still seemed unnecessary, given the nature of the situation.

Despite the fact that the couple seemed unhappy in WWE, they recently signed a lucrative deal with the company, and their television time has increased. This has seemingly put an end to the negative tweets at least for now.
