6 WWE Gimmicks You Didn't Realise Died Horrible Deaths

1. The Undertaker Powerbombs Muhammad Hassan To Hell

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QM6XTVC9BfU The Muhammad Hassan character was a heat magnet in WWE. He did things to really piss off the fans. He wasn't booked as somebody that was anti-American, but he was a guy that was mad that he was treated differently in the country he lived in. There were several controversies regarding Hassan that got WWE into trouble with the media. Most notably, there was an incident where Hassan and a bunch of masked men simulated a beheading of The Undertaker. Soon after that, WWE decided they had to put a stop to the character due to the fact that it was legitimately upsetting people. All of this led to a big match at the 2005 Great American Bash where Undertaker absolutely destroyed Hassan and all of his friends. There were some huge bumps in that match as a way to make a point that the feud was really over. The ending was memorable because after Undertaker won the match decisively, he took Hassan to the stage. Once there, he gave him a Powerbomb that sent Hassan under the stage with the idea that he hit the concrete below. There's no character in WWE history that ended the way Hassan did. They really drove home the point that he was done that night.
