6 WWE Hell In A Cell Opening Matches - From Worst To Best

5. Christian Vs. Sheamus (2011)

Christian and Sheamus have wonderful chemistry, with the former managing to keep the latter interesting for longer than most. Their show-opening bout from 2011 is everything you would expect from the two. Christian was in his bitter veteran phase, and Sheamus was a hard-as-nails babyface who would get his hair matted to his head and then hulk up to smash whoever he was up against. The only gripe I really have with the match is how protected Sheamus was. Christian was using the Spear as a finisher at this point, and Sheamus kicks out of two of them. If the point was to show up how ridiculous it was that Christian was using the spear then job done. Sheamus hits a single Brogue, and that is that.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
