6 WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable Results Predictions

3. Hideo Itami vs Finn Balor vs Tyler Breeze - #1 Contender Match For The NXT Championship

This is the hardest match on the card to call, because WWE still haven't confirmed Hideo Itami's status for the event. It's common knowledge across the IWC by now that he injured his shoulder and, according to reports from PWInsider, he's set to be benched for 6-8 months. WWE's twitter haven't confirmed anything, nor has Itami's, but crucially neither of them have publicly denied the report either, which suggests that, with the most recent edition of NXT in the bag, perhaps WWE will make the announcement soon. Before the injury, Itami was the favourite to win this match. On the pre-taped Go-Home show he went after Kevin Owens, calling him a bad person, which would have been the foundation stone of a future rivalry. With him presumably unable to compete, will WWE draft in a replacement like Solomon Crowe or recent NXT alumnus Neville, or, more likely, will they strip it down to a one on one match? Balor vs Breeze is an as-yet unseen matchup, and one brimming with potential. It makes sense for Balor to pick up the win here. NXT can build a story out of him failing to conquer Owens last time, and vowing to correct that mistake. Winner: Finn Balor
