NXT have done a great job of building up Becky Lynch in recent months. At R Evolution, she had by far the least momentum going into the match, despite her talent, and it's a testament to the WWE's canny use of video packages and segments featuring the two ladies, that Lynch now feels like a viable contender for the belt. She's been gaining vocal supporters, debuted a new Fujiwara armbar submission finisher against Sarah Dobson a few weeks ago, and both her and Banks have been trading wins at recent NXT live shows - since April 30th, they've three victories apiece over one another. WWE have shown backstage interviews of Lynch playing up her history: training in London, being the only female in her gym, her experience in Japan, it's all come into play. She also got the last laugh over Sasha Banks at their contract signing, first making a passionate speech to a receptive crowd, then forcing The Boss to tap out. However, the time just doesn't feel right for Lynch right now. There's little doubt that she will be Women's Champ one day, maybe even soon, but this is Banks' first major title defence (the one against Alexa Bliss doesn't really count) and it would be a huge shock if she lost it now, unless of course she's about to be called up to the main roster, but rumour has it that they're more interested in Charlotte right now. Expect The Boss to take this victory, but don't bet against the Lynch/Banks rivalry continuing. The feud has yet to reach its boiling point. Winner and still champion: Sasha Banks
