56. No Bums In Seats
Nobody saw the opening match of the pre-show. As you can see here, all six men are in the ring while there's only a smattering of fans in their seats.
Apparently the powers that be at the Barclays Center opened the doors really close to bell time which didn't give fans the chance to have a little browse of the merch stand or get some food before taking to their seats so the majority didn't even bother. And why should they? This had all the characteristics of a RAW match, formed after a back and forth promo by two of the participants. You know the score.
Pictures and matches like this are proof as to why pre-shows don't need to be two hours long. If it's not all killer, why bother with the filler? It's clear the fans in attendance here saw the filler and turned away.
