Ever since Orton dropped the title to Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania, he has been back to floating about. There may be plans in place to turn him face soon, or maybe if the right feud comes along, he could stay a heel and create a new babyface. Wyatt has been doing the same kind of floating around since the end of the Jericho feud. Both men are in this strange transition period between being a face, or a heel. Normally, putting a neutral character and a neutral character together would create a neutral response from the audience; but Orton and Wyatt are so good as individual characters that the audience would definitely choose a favourite. The Apex Predator vs. The Eater of Worlds could find balance with the audience and settle who the crowd wants to cheer and who they want to scold. From there, management would know what to do with each man moving forward. Not to mention, these two have styles that would fit perfectly and make some great matches. Orton likely wouldn't be shaken by Wyatt's games and riddles. He would likely become much more brutal and that is when Orton does his best work. Wyatt would love Orton's brutality and his sadistic nature. Orton would match Wyatt with his intensity and physicality which Wyatt would probably try to exploit. Imagine if Orton kept beating Wyatt down, but Wyatt kept asking for more and more punishment. Orton wouldn't understand how to hurt him. Wyatt getting into the head of Orton through taking Orton's worst is something no one else has ever dared to do. It is a dark angle to play and these two would create a great feud that would give both men even more layers to characters that are known for their brutality.
