4. Too Cool

Show younger WWE fans a picture of Too Cool today and they'll deem Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty anything but - nothing screams 2000 like a promo image of the popular tag-team. Things could have been so different had they not completely flopped as a heel duo for a few years before randomly finding success.

Initially called Too Much, the pair were straightforward, narcissistic heels who believed themselves to be prettier than pretty. It was all fairly standard stuff until Brian Christopher (Sexay) and Scott Taylor (Hotty) began introducing outdated hip hop hallmarks into their act. Suddenly, the re-dubbed Too Cool struck gold.

As heels, Too Cool were a low-level squad who had no chance of winning the WWF Tag-Team Titles. Slap a bucket hat on one and a pair of goggles on the other though, add a little Rikishi and watch them fly. Too Much were just that, and the original heel run of Too Cool proved flat, but that babyface run was awesome.
