Trish's feud with Jazz was perfect for both women because they played off each other's strengths really well. At the time, Trish was just starting out as a women's wrestler. She spent all of 2000 in a managerial role and by the end of 2001 she got in the ring more as she won her first Women's Title. The feud with Jazz was done to give off the impression that Trish was more of a serious wrestler, which she proved to be. Since Jazz was an experienced veteran that had a toughness about her, it was a logical feud for Trish. If you asked Trish about the most important rivalries in her career, it's likely that she would mention Jazz. Even though there were times when she lost to her during their feud that lasted on an off for about a year, she really learned a lot from working with Jazz. How can you not? She was great at her job. In boxing, they say styles in make fights. In pro wrestling, often times opposite styles make the best matchups. Trish proved that when she feuded with Jazz.
