The longest rivalry of Trish's career goes to Lita. Both women started in WWE at around the same time. Lita debuted on WWE TV in February 2000 while Trish started one month later in March 2000. Trish retired as a full timer in September 2006 while Lita called it a career two months later in November 2006. They teamed together briefly, but most of the time they were rivals. It started back in their first year in 2000. Then they became buddies. When Trish turned heel in 2004, the feud had new life. Lita was really popular as an athletic diva that could take a beating and hit athletic moves. Trish was really cocky as a heel that was smart about everything he did in the ring. They even made history when they got to headline Raw on December 6, 2004. It was the first time that two women got to headline Raw with a match. We have seen other women headline Raw in promo segments (most recently Stephanie and Brie this summer), but that was the first and only time there was a one on one match featuring two divas. When Lita turned heel in 2005, Trish was back as a face and it gave their rivalry new life once again. It was fitting that Trish's last match as a full timer was against Lita at Unforgiven 2006. No two women had a better rivalry in WWE history. The babyface won their last match. It was the right way to end it. These days, Trish & Lita remain close. They actually do a lot of signings together and they call themselves "Team Bestie" so if they happen to be in your area, make sure you check them out.
