By now, WWE have a formula they enjoy sticking to for Fatal-4-Way Matches and other multi-man affairs. Few can have complaints with that, because it's a way of doing things that certainly works. The way WWE lay out these bouts ensures that there's always something happening inside the ring, it's all-action from start to finish.

People can say what they like about John Cena, but the fact is he's capable of producing the goods when WWE need him to. Defending the WWE World Heavyweight Title here, he faced Randy Orton, Kane and the relative newcomer to the top line bracket, Roman Reigns.

A nice touch in the match came when the idea of Cena colliding with Reigns was treated as a big deal, something that's fascinating to watch now given that fans probably boo Roman louder than they do Cena today!

Often, these Fatal-4-Way bouts break down into a series of finishing moves and near falls, and this one was no exception. That didn't harm proceedings though, it was exactly the kind of match it needed to be.
