7 Best WWE Superstar And Manager Pairings

2. Brock Lesnar And Paul Heyman

The Lesnar/Heyman duo is amazing together. From the moment Lesnar showed up as a regular on WWE TV in 2002, Heyman has been with him. There were times when Lesnar was on his own during his first run in WWE, but ever since his 2012 return he's had Heyman with him. Lesnar is arguably the greatest all around athlete that WWE has ever had. Men his size usually can't move the way he does, nor do they have his credentials. What's wonderful about it is that Heyman is such a great heel manager that he will constantly remind us about all of it. That's what a heel manager is supposed to do. Another thing I really like about the pairing is that Lesnar didn't grow up a WWE fan. He got into it because he needed a job after college and it was a natural fit for him. Heyman's a guy that worked his ass to get involved in wrestling as a teen, he managed people and even ran ECW for years before he made it to WWE in 2001. When WWE realized Lesnar wasn't a good talker, they put Heyman with him and it was clearly the right choice. These days it's hard to imagine one without the other. Heyman's pairing with CM Punk was really good too and seeing him with guys like Cesaro, Axel & Ryback is cool, but Heyman's better with Lesnar.
