7 Best WWE Tag Team Rivalries Of The Past Decade

2. The New Day Vs. The Usos

The New Day and The Usos have brought the very best out of each other, blessing the undercard with top-quality contests whenever they have met. Without them, SmackDown’s exclusive pay-per-views this summer would have been very underwhelming indeed.

Their stipulation matches - the Sin City Street Fight and the first Tag Team Championship encounter inside Hell in a Cell - were reminiscent of the tag team carnage of The Attitude Era. The brutality and creativity of these hardcore matches helped keep the long-running rivalry fresh, and set a higher standard for what should be reasonably expected of the tag division.

The in-ring storytelling was enhanced by the microphone work of both teams, which contributed to their feud regularly being the most interesting part of SmackDown (the rap battle being an obvious highlight). Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have always had great chemistry, and now The Usos have developed a confident style of their own.

These two teams may have been pipped to the number one spot, but even if they aren’t the best tag team rivalry of the past decade, they might have had the best WWE feud of 2017.
