7 Biggest Missed Opportunities From WWE WrestleMania 35

2. Not Giving Kurt Angle The Farewell He Deserved

WrestleMania is a spectacle so grand that multiple WWE legends have chosen to bid us farewell on that very stage. Over the years, we have seen the in-ring careers of Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair come to an end at the 'Showcase of the Immortals' and even The Undertaker has teased us with retirement on that stage (more than once). With that in mind, it's no surprise that the legendary Kurt Angle wanted to do the same. The only difference is that WWE never gave him the respectful farewell he deserved.

While Flair's career was ended by Michaels, 'HBK's own career was taken from him by The Undertaker. Batista even went out against Triple H at this year's 'Mania. Yet, Kurt Angle got Baron Corbin.

To make matters worse, Angle didn't go out in a blaze of glory or a violent brawl. Instead, he went out in a dull and boring dud that made six minutes feel like an eternity. Oh yeah, and he lost too.

Considering fans wanted to see Angle battle superstars like John Cena or The Undertaker (both of whom were actually in the building), it was bad enough that we all had to endure this match instead. However, to have one of the greatest of all time fall to a terribly-booked performer in under 10 minutes was a slap in the face to Angle, his fans and his entire legacy.

Kurt doesn't suck, but this whole segment sure did.
