7 Biggest Missed Opportunities From WWE WrestleMania 35

1. Lack Of A Decisive Win For Becky Lynch

For months, Becky Lynch has been scratching and clawing her way back into the WrestleMania main event that she had already earned in the first place. Taking on the authority of WWE, battling her own injury and standing face-to-face with the intimidating Ronda Rousey, she broke a glass ceiling that had been there for far too long. Though already a fan-favourite, her journey turned 'The Man' into the most over superstar in the company.

All of this was, of course, building towards WrestleMania where she would defeat not one but two of WWE's most formidable females and, in the process, claim her rightful place at the top of the women's division - giving her a WrestleMania moment reminiscent of both Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan's respective title wins on the 'Grandest Stage Of Them All'.

Well, after weeks upon weeks of anticipation, Becky did what she set out to do and won both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships at WrestleMania - the only problem is that she did so with an abrupt and problematic crucifix pin.

Whether intentional or not, the moment left the WWE Universe confused as nobody could really figure out what happened. As a result, what should have been a celebratory moment was marred in controversy and the crescendo of Becky's story ended up being nothing more than a weak whimper.

WrestleMania moment or not, 'The Man' should have won the gold in a more decisive manner.
