3. Who Is Los Ingobernables' Mystery Mr. 'X'?

Pac Neville Dragon Gate
NJPW

The world's coolest wrestling faction, Los Ingobernables de Japon, will unleash a new member upon NJPW at 8 October's King Of Pro Wrestling show, with existing stablemates BUSHI, SANADA, and Tetsuya Naito teaming with this mysterious X against the CHAOS quartet of SHO, YOH, Toru Yano, and Kazuchika Okada.

Naito confirmed it himself via a glossy video promo released earlier this week. It'll be the first time LIJ have added a new member since Hiromu Takahashi's arrival in late 2016, and the rumour mill is flying.

The wrestler formerly known as Neville can likely be ruled out after returning to Dragon Gate as PAC this past weekend, though not entirely. Hirai Kawato, another early favourite, is booked to wrestle in Mexico on Sunday, and won't make the show. Long-time Hiromu Takahashi rival Dragon Lee won't be turning heel on Monday either, as he's currently filming a reality series.

This leaves Shingo Takagi as the clear frontrunner. The 35-year-old will wrestle his last Dragon Gate match on Sunday, him and Naito shared trainers during their formative years, and he just meets the Junior Heavyweight cut-off at 95kg. His NJPW signing would be a coup, though a CHAOS member turning heel could also happen.
