NXT has signed many independent standouts over the past few years, and almost all of them have made surprise debuts on NXT TV. Correct me if I'm wrong, but only Aleister Black and Kevin Owens have received the vignette treatment since NXT was transformed into a super indy promotion.

Adam Cole should see his name added to this list. On the first episode of TV following TakeOver, a short promo will play hyping the debut of the former three-time ROH World Champion. The video will play up his achievements in Ring of Honor in particular, highlighting his long rivalry with Kyle O'Reilly if possible.

The vignette will suggest that Cole is going to arrive in NXT in three weeks time.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
