7 Candidates To Replace The Authority As WWE's New Figurehead

7. Christian

Christian's in-ring future is very much in doubt now that he's 40 years old and he's been dealing with a variety of injuries in the last few years. A serious concussion as well as a shoulder injury has really slowed him down to the point that we don't know if he's ever going to wrestle again. If he does, will WWE be willing to give him a serious push? It seems unlikely. The good thing that Christian has going for him is that he's been a part of WWE for the past 16 years (minus three years in TNA), so he's got a good relationship with WWE fans. He's also an above average talker that can deliver good promos whether he's a heel or a face. Due to those reasons, it's very possible that he could be great in a role as an authority figure. It's a question of whether or not WWE would want to put him in a role like that or if he would take it. He could probably be good as a GM no matter what the role is. A great talker that has credibility with the fans, which he has, can be successful at it.
