7 Candidates To Replace The Authority As WWE's New Figurehead

1. Mick Foley

"That appearance energized me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer WWE on a more regular basis. I think there is a chance I€™ll be asked about becoming GM within the next year €“ and if asked€ I think I€™d do it." That's what WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley wrote on his Facebook page last week after having a lot of fun when he was back on Raw for a surprise appearance with rising stars Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. He's not shy about telling us that there's a chance he'll be asked about being a WWE GM and if they do ask, he's going to say yes. Foley's the best choice for GM because he's the most likable guy that WWE can pick. He had a very enjoyable run as WWE commissioner in 2000 that really could have lasted longer than it did, but they loved changing directions back then. He showed when he was in that role he could really have some fun while also representing the fans as a babyface GM. The best reason to pick Foley is because it would be different than the standard authority figure act in WWE. We're so used to heels being in power that it's become repetitive even if they are good talkers. Let's have a feel good GM again and let it be Mick Foley.
