7 Candidates To Replace The Authority As WWE's New Figurehead
2. Sting
It's obvious that Sting is coming to WWE. They likely agreed on something earlier this year and it's just a case of waiting until early 2015 to bring him in. What about if there was no authority figure in place on the first Raw of the year. Then Vince McMahon is in the ring to announce who the new GM is going to be. Cue Sting's music. He walks out onto the WWE stage for the first time ever, then shakes Vince's hand and the crowd goes wild. There's a chance that WWE may not want him in that role because they want him to be more of a mysterious figure, but it would be a good way to introduce him to the WWE audience. If he's going to wrestle at WrestleMania then they could use his three months on television to build up to it. Maybe it's Bray Wyatt or some other heel that forces him to wrestle. It's an easy story to tell. Sting was in a GM type of role when he was in TNA too. As a guy in his mid-50s that is a good talker he definitely has the credibility to do an awesome job in a role like that.
