It would be a surreal moment to say the least to see Samoa Joe and CM Punk do battle under the brightest lights. Whilst I certainly wouldn't expect any 60-minute time limit draws, it would be something of a plateau moment to see them come up against each other one more time. The matches were as good as any hour long match can be, and the beautiful thing was that each match was different. The second Joe/Punk match got a five-star rating from the Wrestling Observer, the first US match in seven years to do so. Could they catch lightning in a bottle once more on the biggest professional wrestling stage there is? Sadly, we will never know.
