7 Current Stars Who Would Thrive Without WWE

4. Kane - Politician

Kane is the oldest active member on the WWE roster - he'll turn 47 at the end of this month. The Undertaker and Sting are older, but they're not active anymore. It's reached the point in his career where people expect Kane to retire within a few years. Give him credit for staying in great shape, working a full schedule including weekend house shows and always performing at a high level, but everybody has to stop at some point. He's probably made so much money that he could live off his wrestling money for the rest of his life pretty easily. We also know that he has an insurance company in Tennessee with his wife too. Outside the ring, Kane (real name Glenn Jacobs) is very interested in politics. He's done a lot of public speaking about how he became a Libertarian and if you've listened to some of his discussions about it he is very articulate in the way that he speaks. He's not some dumb wrestler. He's really smart. In addition to that, he's also written for a number of different Libertarian blogs in his career as well as running his own for a few years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hniIFhHAjAE Kane has said that he doesn't have an interest in running for office, but he did say that perhaps one day he'll consider it. That's likely after his WWE run, which could be soon. Don't count out a potential acting career for Kane either. See No Evil may not be the greatest film ever, but there's no denying that he's very good as an intimidating character. He could definitely get some film work if he ever wanted to pursue it.
