Wednesday's at 3:16 am? We Watch Wrestling! This is a lively show which, on first listen, probably comes off as an onslaught of deep in-jokes told by strange folks. Stick around, though, you'll soon find the charm in the weekly adventures of LA's own Wrestling Matt McCarthy, Greener than Goose(droppings) Tom Sibley, and the Wrestling Encyclopedia Vince Averill. Created by wrestling fans for wrestling fans, these guys are big on WWE, PWG, and NJPW, as well as occasional trips to the Impact Zone and the Temple. Of course, by "these guys", it's really only Matt and Vince. The charm of the podcast comes with Tom, who started off in the very first issue (never "episode") as the no-nothing mark sitting below Matt and Vince's tree of learning, and went on to... well, he still doesn't know that much, but it's hard not to love the ol' T-Bone, even if the only wrestling he watches is the Hulu-cut of Raw.

The First Impression:

Who's Rena? Who's Dotti? Who's Rob? What's this about Randy's punt kick? Why is there gravy on the stove? Why isn't Tom wearing shoes? Does Matt know it's fake?

What Keeps You Coming Back:

RENA! Get that gravy off of Dotti. Oh, so Tom can have his feet all over the stove, but Randy can't have his punt kick? Yes, it won't take long at all to be well-versed in the in-jokes (check the back-issues), but once you are, it quickly becomes like hanging out with old friends. Even in a rough week, the opening minutes are worth hearing for the weekly battles that are Matt vs the introduction, Tom vs the theme song, and Vince vs Tom's bludgening of the aforementioned theme song.
