It only makes sense for this uniquely interactive Pay Per View to make a return now, especially at the height of the so-called 'reality era'. With the WWE more invested in social media promotion and engagement than ever before, it's actually a huge surprise that the concept of Cyber Sunday (originally known as Taboo Tuesday) has not yet been revisited. This venture would be especially effective if the votes meant something. Often Cyber Sunday was hindered by polls involving a clear favourite, options obviously favoured by both the WWE and the fans themselves. Instead, votes should take place between several evenly-regarded competitors or stipulations, leading to a level of interaction previously unseen in the wrestling world. Although one of the smaller, relatively shorter-lived PPVs in mainstream wrestling history - certainly nowhere near the level of the WWE's "big four" shows - Cyber Sunday could actually prove key to the company's progression.
