This one’s maybe lost its edge now that Nakamura has failed to deliver on the big match potential of his AJ Styles feud but, nonetheless, there is a reality out there where this is possibly the single most exciting single’s match WWE could put on.

The two met in New Japan over 10 years ago and...I mean, look at the picture, that is not Shinsuke Nakamura. That’s a young kid nowhere near ready to be in a match of this spectacle taking on someone who couldn't care less about the belt he’s holding. You might argue the latter part of that sentence but the former couldn’t be more different.

The matchup might sound pretty underwhelming and, yes, they are on different brands right now, but just imagine it. Lesnar vs Nakamura. UFC vs Strong Style. It still has massive star power and could very, very easily main-event a big four PPV.
