3. Daniel Bryan Vs. The Miz
When The Miz cut that Talking Smack promo on Daniel Bryan waaaay back in 2016, a lightbulb just went off in everybody’s head. These two have become the very embodiment of the modern wrestling duality and it needs to be a huge story.
The Miz is, as Daniel Bryan said, the very embodiment of the soft WWE style, he’s been their guy since he cropped up on a reality show on day 1. Bryan, as the Miz put it, belongs in a Bingo Hall with all of his friends. In 2018, when the Indies are in closer competition with Vince than ever before, these two symbolise both halves of the wrestling world.
Feels like I’m maybe beating a dead horse with this one as it’s been on every single dream match list since, well, even before Bryan’s confirm was returned, but it’s still an important feud. In an ideal world they’d keep it back for Mania 35 but, if WWE don’t see it as being quite that big a deal, we deserve it this year.
